Angel Barajas, 71, of Spearman, Texas passed away Thursday, October 29, 2026 in Spearman. Viewing will be from 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2026 to 9:00 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2026 at Iglesia El Camino in Spearman, Texas. A funeral service will be held Monday, November 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Iglesia El Camino in Spearman, officiated by Rev. Jose Serefino Ibarra. Burial will follow at Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton, Texas. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Spearman, Texas.

Angel was born on March 17, 1955 in El Capote Municipio Turicato, Michoacan, Mexico to Rosendo Barajas and Rosario Barajas. He was a member of the El Camino Church in Spearman, Texas. He married his wife, Esther Villalobos, on March 28, 2007 in Perryton, Texas.

Angel is survived by six daughters, Joanna Quintero of Houston, Texas, Lea Hernandez of Perryton, Texas, Lizbeth Barajas of Mexico, Cricket Ramirez of Perryton, Texas, Ann Barajas, and Shaicel Barajas, both of Mexico; two sons, Jesus Lucero of Spearman, Texas, and Edgar Elwood, also of Spearman, Texas; sixteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to Hansford Hospice, 707 S. Roland, Spearman, Texas.
