Arlie Eugene Hargrove, 82 of Perryton died Friday, July 19, 2024 in Perryton, Texas. Private family graveside services were held Monday July 22, 2024 at Ochiltree Cemetery.  Arrangements were made by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton, Texas.

Arlie was born on August 25, 1941 to Woodrow Wilson Hargrove and Virgie Thornburg Hargrove.  He married Cynthia Shiplett on May 8, 1961.  He was a lifelong resident of Perryton.  Arlie was a machinist and a professional painter by trade, painting cars, boats, air planes, and oilfield tanks.  During his early years he broke and trained horses.  He always had a love for horses.  He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Mr. Hargrove is survived by two sons, Kenny Hargrove and wife Stephanie of Austin, Texas, and Lonnie Hargrove of Perryton, Texas.  Two daughters both of Perryton, Pam Harvey and husband Ronald, and Cindy Boxwell and husband Jeff, nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Arlie is preceded in death by his parents, spouse, one great grandchild, Derrick Harvey, one sister and one brother.

The family requests that memorials be made to the OGH Hospice Volunteers or ones favorite charity.
