Betty Frances Devers, 77, of Booker, Tx passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.  A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 12, 2021 at Heart Cemetery with Aric Ruiz officiating. Viewing/visitation is scheduled 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Wednesday (11/10/21) and 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.  Thursday (11/11/21) at Boxwell Brothers Chapel in Booker, Tx. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

Betty was born on January 8, 1944 in Artesia, NM to Fred and Billie Henderson Cawyer.  She married Gene Devers in 1986 in Perryton, Tx. She was a really good painter and artist. She was also known for her excellent cooking skills.

She is survived by her husband, Gene, of the home; daughter, Amber and Jerry Hargues of Booker, Tx; four grandchildren, Tandra Hargues of Booker, Tx, Trent and Cassie Hargues of Guymon, Ok, Andy Hargues of Booker, Tx  and Samantha Hargues of Perryton, Tx; four great-grandchildren, Aric Ruiz, Lanee Waechter, Libby Waechter, Presley Bauer; step-mother, Betty Cawyer; brothers, Fred Cawyer of Mathis, Tx, Tommy Moses of Orange Grove, Tx, Alton Moses of Houston, Tx.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Billie; daughter, Jamie Reiswig; brother, Weldon Cawyer; and sister, Carolyn George.
