Beverly Sharp, 70, of Perryton, TX passed away on August 26, 2021.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021, 10:30 A. M. at Victory Family Church in Perryton under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.  Rev. Chuck Kaliszewski and Rev. Marlon Sparks will officiate the service.

Beverly was born January 25, 1951 to Bernard and Joan Roesler in Sweeny, TX.  She was a proud graduate for Sweeny High School.  Following high school Beverly attended Southwest Texas University before transferring to and graduating from the University of Houston in 1973.  On May 13, 1972, Beverly married H. R. Sharp, Jr. in Sweeny.  On May 13, 2021 they celebrated 49 years of marriage and the birth of their first great grandchild!

Beverly's passions were God, family and teaching.

Beverly loved her family and friends like there was no tomorrow.  She never met a stranger and her joy in life was infectious.  Many viewed her as a mentor not just as a friend.

Beverly was strong as a lion, courageous and fearless as a mother bear yet sweet, loving, and compassionate.  Even in her toughest times she was ministering to others, showing God's love and being the hands and feet of Christ.

Bev was kind, loving, compassionate, graceful, brave, strong, encouraging and most importantly loved God with all her heart.  She gave the best hugs, prayed fearlessly, and had the best smile.  She loved big "to Heaven and back".

Beverly taught for 40 plus years.  Teaching was not just a job for Beverly.  She loved her students passionately and sought to instill a love of learning in all who came her way.  Before retiring in 2015, Beverly taught Special Education for 14 years in Olton and Plainview Texas.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Joan Roesler.  She is survived by her husband H.R. Sharp of the home; son Michael and Roberta Sharp of Norman, OK; daughters, Kerri and Joe Mahan of Katy, TX, Cheri and Josh Kemp of Perryton, and Sarah Sharp of the home; grandchildren Victoria and Matt Stedronsky, Paul Mahan, Olivia Sharp and fiancé Zach, Elizabeth Mahan, Gabriella Sharp, Hannah, Bennett, and Lily Jo Kemp; great granddaughter, Rosie Stedronsky; and sister, Debbie and Monty Karnes of Stillwater, OK.

The family would like to thank the staff of Northwest Texas Hospital/Rehab and Ochiltree General Hospital for the compassionate and loving care provided to Beverly and The Medical Center League House for providing a place of peace and comfort for the family while visiting Beverly in Amarillo.
