C.A. Clark, 80, of Perryton, Texas, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in Amarillo, Texas.  Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 23, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Perryton, Texas with Pastor Terry Turner officiating.  Burial will follow at Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton, Texas.  Viewing will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Clarence Avert Clark Jr. was born on June 4, 1942, to Clarence A. and Sybel (Friday) Clark, Sr. in Midland, Texas. He married Susan Gallagher April 3, 1961 in Midland, Texas and they made their home in Perryton, Texas in 1984. He enjoyed golfing and working in the yard.

He is survived by his daughters, Sandy Lea Hooper and husband Tommy of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Cindy Ann Higgins and husband Denis of McPherson, Kansas; brother, Tony Clark; sisters, Gwyn Wright, Donna Randolph; thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan; parents, C.A. and Sybel Clark; daughter, Karen Gibson; sisters, Lavesta Cargile, Carolyn Jackson.
