Carl, "Sam", McCroskey, 58, of Perryton, Texas passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 in Perryton.  Viewing will be from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, June 27, 2024, and Friday, June 28, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton.  A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Community Worship Center in Perryton, Texas, officiated by Jason Vanosdol.  Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton, and arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Mr. McCroskey was born on September 7, 1965 in Beaver, Oklahoma to Robert Dodson and Florence Green McCroskey.  He married his wife, Rychelle McCroskey, on December 24, 2005 in Perryton, Texas.  He loved working on cars and collecting eagles.  He was a big family person, especially with his granddaughters.

Mr. McCroskey is survived by his wife, Chelle, of Perryton, Texas; his daughter, Shania Lopez of Stephenville, Texas; three brothers, Walter McCroskey, of Perryton, Texas, Bobby McCroskey of Amarillo, Texas, and Melvin McCroskey of Fort Supply, Oklahoma; two sisters, Helen Brooks of Perryton, Texas and Irene Crites of Mansfield, Texas; two granddaughters, Leilani Lopez and Leticia Lopez, both of Stephenville, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. McCroskey was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Chris McCroskey, and his brother-in-law, Ernest Brooks.
