Carlos Abdon De Santiago, 84, passed away on October 31, 2024, at Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton, Texas. The wake will be held on Saturday, November 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Legion Hall in Booker. The Rosary will be on Sunday, November 3 at 6:00 p.m. followed by the vigil at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on November 4 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Father Cesar Gomez officiating. Burial will follow at Heart Cemetery in Booker. Arrangements are under the direction of the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

Carlos was born on September 3, 1940, in Las Varas, Mexico. He is the son of Roman and Maria (Carlos) De Santiago. Carlos was a hard worker and loved to make people laugh. Every morning, he would pass by his family's house to make sure everyone was home safe.

He is survived by eight children, Martina De Santiago of Booker, Texas, Cristina Cervantes of Booker, Texas, Roman De Santiago of Odessa, Texas, Dony De Santiago of Booker, Texas, Imelda Solís of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Alex De Santiago of Booker, Texas, Frankie De Santiago of Odessa, Texas and Lupita Estrada of Booker, Texas. He is survived by his four sisters, Maria Huerta of Fabens, Texas, Nena Regalado of El Paso, Texas, Emilia Aguirre of Midland, Texas, Lupita Alvarez of Fabens, Texas and one brother, Jose De Santiago of El Paso. He was preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers, Idelfonso De Santiago, Efren De Santiago and Roberto De Santiago.
