Carol Ann Holmes, 79, of Perryton, Texas, passed away April 6, 2021.

Carol was born to Thomas and Martha Morrison on May 25, 1942 in Montrose, California. Her family moved back to Oklahoma, where she began elementary school in Dundee and graduated from Dundee High. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts. Teaching was a vocation to Carol. She taught at small elementary schools in Oklahoma before moving to Perryton in 1973. Carol taught at Perryton and Waka public elementary schools as well as a private Christian school. She attended summer school and earned a Master of Education degree. She loved the outdoors, reading, and art, especially the pen and ink work of her generation's most creative and brilliant artist.

Carol is survived by two sons, Christopher and Heath, daughter-in-law in Danette, two grandsons Garrett and Paden.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Gerald, and her parents.
