Carolyn M Yancy, 84, of Spearman entered eternal life on Friday, March 6, 2026.

She was born on December 28, 1941, in Portland Oregon to Mabel Marie Mathison and Frank Willard Robison. Carolyn spent many of her younger years of married life as a ranch wife in West Texas and Southwestern New Mexico before taking classes to become a nurse where she was then a nurse for many years in Las Cruces, New Mexico before enjoying the retired life where she had many hobbies including quilting and cross stitching.

Survivors include her two granddaughters, Matti Jo Cockrum of Roswell, New Mexico and Dani Vickery of Memphis, TN along with six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul J Yancy Jr, her brother, Jack Robison of Palm Springs, CA, her daughter, Katherine M Mitchell along with her parents, Mabel M Robison and Frank W Robison.

At Mrs. Yancy's request, she has been cremated and a private memorial will be held in her honor.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.
