Cathy Diane Gipson, 67, of Perryton, Texas passed away Monday, February 24, 2025 in Perryton.  Viewing will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, February 28, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to service time.  A funeral service will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Word of Life Church in Perryton, Texas, officiated by Rev. Jeff Hinshaw.  Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton, Texas.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Cathy was born on April 26, 1957 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Vertis Stroup and Lois Bartz Stroup.  She married her husband, Winston Gipson, on February 14 in Perryton, Texas.  She worked in a nursing home, and she was also a homemaker.  She loved fishing and gardening, and she loved cooking outside.

Cathy is survived by her mother, Lois Stroup; her brother Dwayne Stroup and wife Kathy; two daughters, Tammy Hardeman and Dana Gipson; one son, Stephen Gipson; three nephews, Chris Stroup, Terry Stroup and Devon Stroup; and three great-grandchildren.

Cathy was preceded in death by her "dad" Vertis Stroup and her husband, Winston Gipson.
