Charles William Kruse, 81, from Gruver, Tx passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 in Spearman, Tx.  Graveside Services will be on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Gruver Cemetery at 2:30 with Pastor Gary Gumfory of the First Christian Church in Gruver.   Viewing will be on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 9:oo a.m. till 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers of Spearman.

Charles was born on December 17,1938 to Ralph and Verla Montgomery Kruse in Woodland, Il.  Charles served in the US Navy.  He was a farmer and worked for Northern Natural Gas Company. Charles and Florence Martin were married December 24, 1961 in Del Norte, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Florence (2003), son, Mike Griffin, son, Bob Griffin  and sister, Francis Coleman

He is survived by 4 sons, Frank Griffin and wife,  Diana of Canyon,Tx,  Bill Griffin and wife, Marsha of Dumas, Tx, J.L. Griffin and wife, Jo Lynn of Sheridan, WY., and Wayne Kruse and wife, Penny of Gruver, Tx. Charles is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to one's favorite charity.
