Charles L. Laxton, 87, of Spearman passed away on December 10, 2020. Graveside services will be held at Ochiltree Cemetery on Tuesday, December 15, at 2:00 p.m. with Mark Murray officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman. Due to COVID 19 guidelines, we will be practicing social distancing.

Charles was born to Alvin and Jessie Chapman Laxton on December 17, 1932 in Ada, Oklahoma.  Charles married Claudine Beal on June 2, 1956 in Ada, Oklahoma.     He was Manager of Drilling for Baker & Taylor.  Charlie loved fishing and held the record for the largest fish at Palo Duro Lake.

Charles was preceded in death by two sons, Charles and Floyd and 6 brothers.

He is survived by his wife Claudine of the home; son Lloyd Laxton of Spearman; one granddaughter Alexis Laxton of Amarillo; grandsons Bradley Laxton and Charles Laxton of Perryton; great-grandson Zachary Laxton of Perryton; and his brother Stanley Laxton., also 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
