David Earl Sweigart, 69, of Perryton, Texas passed away Monday, September 8, 2025 in Perryton.  Viewing will be Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.   A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Perryton, Texas.  Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

David was born on February 3, 1956 in LaJunta, Colorado to Earl Sweigart and Winnie Snyder Sweigart.  He graduated from Balko High School, and he married his wife, Sheila Armstrong, on February 14, 1998 in Perryton, Texas.  He was an electrician, and he loved animals, enjoyed hunting, and was a NASCAR fan.

David is survived by two sons, Josh Sweigart of Houston, Texas and Jake Sweigart and wife Kaitlyn of Edmond, Oklahoma; three sisters, Cara Wilkens and husband Doug of Perryton, Texas, Anna Patzkowsky and husband Kenton of Balko, Oklahoma, and Susan Cohlmia and husband Matt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his mother, Winnie Sweigart of Perryton, Texas; and two grandchildren, Kaylee Miller and Chaysen Sweigart.

David was preceded in death by his wife and his father.
