Donita Fiskin, 86, of Amarillo, Tx formerly of Perryton, Tx, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton with Rev. Richard Laverty officiating. Burial will follow at Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Due to COVID 19 guidelines, we will be practicing social distancing and occupancy numbers will be limited. Donita was born on March 12, 1934 to James Russell and Wilma (Garrison) Gunter in Perryton, Tx. She married Doug Fiskin in Amarillo, Tx in October 3, 1954. She taught school in Perryton for 36 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perryton.

Survivors include her husband, Doug, of the home; son, Steve Friskin and wife, Laura; grandsons, Cayden and Braxton Fiskin all of West Fargo, North Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
