Doug Fiskin, 86, of Amarillo, Tx formerly of Perryton, Tx, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, September 28, 2020 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton with Rev. Corky Holland, minister of the First Baptist Church of Amarillo, officiating. Burial will follow at Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Due to COVID 19 guidelines, we will be practicing social distancing and occupancy numbers will be limited. Doug was born on September 28, 1933 to Cecil and Florence Roundtree Fiskin in Canadian, Tx. He married Donita Gunter in Amarillo, Tx on October 3, 1954. He was the Superintendent of Schools in Perryton in the late 1980's and worked for the Region 1 Service Center in the late 1980's to mid-1990's. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perryton and became a member of the First Baptist Church in Amarillo when he moved there.

Survivors include his son, Steve Friskin and wife, Laura; grandsons, Cayden Fiskin and Braxton Fiskin all of West Fargo, North Dakota.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donita Fiskin (8/21/20) and one sister, Sue Howard.
