Dugan Wilson, 89, of Perryton, Tx passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton, Texas with Rev. Mark Metzger officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funerals Home of Perryton. The funeral home in Perryton will be open for anyone that wishes to sign the book on Thursday (9/15/22) and Friday (9/16/22) from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Thomas Oilver "Dugan" Wilson, Jr. was born December 17, 1932 to Thomas Oliver Wilson Sr. and Mabel (Williams) Wilson in Balko, Oklahoma. He married Minta McAninch on July 16, 1966 in Merkel, Texas. He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Perryton.

He is survived by his son, Douglas Shaw of New Braunfels, Tx; three sisters, Betty Law and husband, Donald, of Balko, Oklahoma, Mary Lou Teel of Blanchard, Oklahoma, and Lola Belle "Odie" Dear of Perryton, Texas; one sister-in-law, Twila Wilson of Stinnett, Texas.

Dugan was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Minta; brothers, Billy "Beet" Wilson, Bobby Wilson and Jack Wilson; and one sister, Norma Jean Wilson.
