Emilio Ernest L'Esperance, 78, of Perryton, Tx passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020. Funeral Service is scheduled for 10:00 am Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perryton with Father Cesar Gomez officiating. Burial will follow at Ochiltree Cemetery. Rosary is scheduled for 7:00 pm, Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home with vigil to follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Due to COVID 19 guidelines, we will be practicing social distancing and occupancy numbers will be limited. Emilio was born March 1, 1942 in Las Vegas, NM to Ramon and Brigida Santillanes L'Esperance. He married Rosemary Murillo on January 12, 1963 in Denver, Co. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Perryton.
Emilio was a hard-working Dad. He always provided for his family. He had many talents such as being a master welder and builder. He loved playing the guitar, drawing, telling jokes, and making people laugh. He was a people person. He knew no stranger. He loved to just sit, talk, and reminisce about may things.

All those living at the time of his death are his wife, Rosemary Murillo L'Esperance; daughter, Mother Rita Ann L'Esperance, Association of Christ the King of Amarillo, Tx; son, Mark L'Esperance and wife, Kristen of Canadian, Tx; daughter, Elizabeth L'Esperance of Amarillo, Tx; daughter, Samantha Rodriguez of Angleton, Tx; son, Ronnie L'Esperance of Perryton, Tx. He has 14 grandchildren: Joshua Blanco, Michael L'Esperance, Shawn Rodriguez, Christopher L'Esperance, Nicholas L'Esperance, Samuel Rodriguez, Kalin L'Esperance, Zachary L'Esperance, Mason L'Esperance, Sarah Rodriguez, Ernie Rodriguez, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Addison L'Esperance, and Aiden L'Esperance. His great-grandchildren are Elliyet L'Esperance and Liam Salas. He is also survived by his brother and sisters, Catalina Mariz, Felix L'Esperance, Joe L'Esperance, Rose Sena, Paul L'Esperance, Silvia Andrade, and Ramon L'Esperance Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Brigida L'Esperance; brother, Miguel L'Esperance; father and mother-in-law, James and Elizabeth Cordova Murillo.

Dad was a praying man. He loved the Blessed Mother and always prayed to her before going to sleep. May he now rest in her arms and the arms of our Lord. Eternal rest grant unto him Oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
