Erma Laughead, 71, of Darrouzett, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in Canadian, Texas. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Follett, Texas with Rev. Clay Wells officiating. Viewing/visitation will be Thursday (4/7/22) from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Friday (4/8/22) from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers in Booker, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton, Texas.

Erma was born March 23, 1951 in Fairview, Oklahoma to Claude and Elsie (Jantz) Koehn. She loved taking her summer motorcycle trips. She also loved cooking and making clothes.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Laughead of the home; sons, Rob Laughead of Darrouzett, Texas and Joey Laughead of Oklahoma City; mother, Elsie Koehn of Ringwood, Oklahoma; brother, Dennis Koehn of Orlando, Oklahoma; sister, Debbie McQreary from Ringwood, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Alissa Laughead from Oklahoma City and Brianna Laughead of Oklahoma, City.

She is preceded in death by her father.
