Ernie Piña, 42, of Perryton, TX passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2022, at Key Heights Baptist Church in Perryton, Texas with Rev. Duce Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery. Viewing/visitation will be 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., Wednesday (12/7/22) and Thursday (12/8/22) and 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Friday (12/9/22) at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton, Texas.

Ernesto Jose Piña was born November 17, 1980 in Beaver, Oklahoma to Oscar and Marcella (Gonzales) Sifuentes. He married Kassie McCabe on April 25, 2009 in Booker, TX. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son and brother. He owned and operated E&J Plumbing. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.  Everyone who attends the funeral service is asked to wear their favorite Dallas Cowboy jersey/clothing or blue and gray.

He is survived by his wife, Kassie, and two children Ernesto Piña Jr. and Anna Piña of the home; brother, Oscar Daniel Sifuentes of Perryton, TX; sister, Mary Burrier of San Antonio, TX; father, Oscar Sifuentes and grandfather, Jose Gonzales.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marcella and his grandmother, Dolores Gonzales.
