Esther Lenora Roth, 99, of Booker, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023 in Perryton, Texas.  Viewing will be Friday, November 24, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Booker, Texas.  Due to inclement weather, the graveside service is cancelled, and a church service will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Booker, Texas.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Booker, Texas.

Mrs. Roth was born on July 11, 1924 in Lipscomb, Texas to Fred Littau and Ida Koch Littau.  She married her husband, Raymond Loyd Roth on June 23, 1941, and was a member of the First Christian Church in Booker, Texas.  She loved taking care of the nursery on Sundays.  She also loved taking care of her grandchildren.

Mrs. Roth is survived by one daughter, Joyce Johnson of Booker, Texas; one son, Scott Roth and wife Annette of Colorado; ten grandchildren, Kevin, Kristi, Kyle, DeeRae, Kayla, Brandon, Shawn, Tiffany, Scott, Jr., and Travis; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and nineteen great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Roth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son, Dennis Roth; and one son-in-law, Ken Johnson.
