Lila West, 81, of Spearman, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025 in Spearman.  A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spearman, Texas, officiated by Father Anthony Yanamala.  Burial of cremains will follow the service at Hansford Cemetery.   Cremation arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Spearman, Texas.

Lila was born on August 24, 1943 in Amarillo, Texas to Pablo Torres and Mary Collins.  She graduated from Dumas High School and worked as a nurse's aide in the late 1970's.  She worked in the Spearman school system in the cafeteria from 2004 to 2015.

Lila is survived by one son, David West and wife Dana of Amarillo, Texas; one granddaughter, Macy Johnson; one grandson, Carson West; three sisters, Gloria Casas, Bernice Flores and Denice Blackburn; one brother, Paul Torres; and many nieces and nephews.

Lila was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne West; one daughter, Pamela Gayle West; and one brother, Ricky Torres.
