Evelia Porras de Flores, 80, of Perryton, Tx passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022, in Amarillo. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Iglesia Pentecostal Unida in Perryton with David Hernandez officiating. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery. Viewing/visitation will be Monday (6/20/22) 3:00 – 9:00 p.m., Tuesday (6/21/22) 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday (6/22/22) 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Perryton. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

Evelia was born on February 2, 1942 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Guadalupe and Librada (Hernandez) Porras. She married Saul Flores September 23, 1957 in Mexico. She was a member of the Iglesia Pentecostal Unida in Perryton. She was full of joy and made everyone feel like family.

She is survived by her husband, Saul, of the home; children; son, Adolfo Flores, daughters, Loyda Flores, Aida Flores, Elia Greenway all of Perryton, Tx; son, Otoniel Flores of Mexico; daughter, Aracely Mitchum and son, Ismael Flores both of Dallas, Tx; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Guadalupe Ortega and brother, Fernando Porras.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Librada Porras and a daughter, Miriam Simmons.
