Felipe Navarrete, 66, of Spearman, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 in Amarillo. Viewing will be Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home from 1:00p.m. until  9:00p.m. and Thursday October 20, 2022 from 9:00a.m. until 4:00p.m.  Family visitation will be on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 5:00pm - 7:00p.m. at the Union Church in Spearman.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, 2:00p.m. at the Union Church in Spearman with Rev. Mark Murray officiating.  Burial will follow at Hansford Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Felipe was born on March 26, 1956 in La Quesera, Durango Mexico to Miguel Navarrete and Remedios Navarrete.  Felipe and Anna Martinez were married on August 25, 1980 in Hardesty, Ok.  He was a member of Union Church in Spearman.  Felipe loved spending time with his family and especially with his grandkids. He liked to volunteer his time to benefit others.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Anna and two sons, Felipe Navarrete Jr. and wife, Andrea of Spearman and Marcos Navarrete and wife Tana of Plainview, TX and brother, Jose Navarrete.  He is also survived by four grandchildren. Isaiah Navarrete,  Briauna Navarrete, Micah Navarrete and  Terah Navarrete.

Family suggests memorials be to Union Church in Spearman.
