Francisca Mercado Chairez, 73, of Perryton, Tx passed away in Amarillo on Thursday, April 9, 2020. Funeral Service is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton with Father Cesar Gomez officiating. Burial will follow at Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements made by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, only direct family members are allowed at the funeral service.

Francisca was born on November 8, 1946 to Jose Mercado and Anna Maria Chairez Mendoza in Zacatecas, Mexico. She married Esteban Gutierrez on April 13, 1964 in Durango, Mexico. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Perryton, Tx.

She is survived by her husband of Perryton; her children Rebeca Gutierrez of Mexico, Margarita Gutierrez of Mexico, Sandra Gutierrez of Perryton, Tx, Esteban Gutierrez Jr. of Amarillo, Tx, Francisca Gutierrez of Perryton, Tx, Jose Gutierrez of Perryton, Tx, Felipe Gutierrez of Perryton, Tx, Jesus Gutierrez of El Paso, Tx; twenty grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her mother and her siblings Irene Mercado, Gerardo Mercado, Rogelio Mercado, Anna Cecilia Gallardo all of California, Teresa Cortinas and Evith Leanos both of Perryton, Tx.
