Francisco Soto Tarango 65, of Gruver passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 in Amarillo.  Viewing will be on Sunday at the Cristo Redentor  Catholic Church in Gruver at 5:00p.m.until Mass time on Monday.   Funeral  Mass will on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 1:00p.m.with Father Anthony Yanamala officiating.   Burial will follow at the Gruver Cemetery.   Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell  Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Francisco was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on August 6, 1956 to Jose Soto Soto and Aucencia Tarango Borundo.

He was a member of the Cristso  Redentor Catholic Church in Gruver.  Maria Soto Ortiz and Francisco were married on February 25, 1979 in Chihuahua, Mexico. He worked at the USA Feedyard.  He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather.

Francisco is survived by his wife, Maria Soto of Gruver, Sandra Soto of Gruver, his son, Daniel Melendez Ortiz of Mexico, four sisters, Gabriella Ortiz, Olivia Soto, Blanca Balles, MariaMoncerrat Soto Tarango, two brothers,  Jose Soto and Rodolfo Soto.  He also leaves behind his six grandchildren, Ruby Gavirio, Joaquin Gavirio, Jerman Almeraz, Jerardo Almeraz, Brayan Melendez and Mayrani Melendez.
