Gary Shaun Hill ,50, of Amarillo went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2024.  Celebration of Life will be held at Union Church in Spearman, 31 S. Endicott on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 11:00a.m. with Pastor Mark Murray officiating.   Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Gary was born in Odessa, Texas on August 2, 1973. Gary was an Army Veteran serving in Germany from 1991-1995.He was recently employed at BSA Hospital and Best Buy.  He had many dear friends and co workers.  He was a loving son, father, and brother who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.  We are very thankful to all of the staff at BSA Hospital and the VA Hospice.

He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Max Hill and his infant son Jake Takoda Hill.

Gary is survived by his parents, Robert and Melba Johnson of Spearman, sister Amber Dettmer and husband, James of Spearman, his children, Matthew Gunnar Hill of Schenectady, NY. daughter, Alana Hill of Amarillo, son, Christopher Hill, daughter Payton Hill both of Perryton, daughter, Kimmie Hill and son,Corbyn Hill of Florida  He is also survived by one niece, McKala Dettmer of Spearman, nephew, Christian Dettmer of Amarillo, nephews, Jaxson and Joseph Dettmer of Spearman, his loving and faithful long time companion, Melissa Atkins of Amarillo.
