Glen Ray Harris, 93, of Gruver passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 in Amarillo.  Viewing will be on Saturday, May 6, 2023 (9:00a.m. to 9:00p.m.)  and Sunday, May 7, 2023 (1:00p.m. to 9:00p.m.)  at Boxwell  Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman.  A Graveside service will be on Monday, May 8, 2023 at the Gruver Cemetery at 10:30a.m. with Jeffrey Price officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Glen was born on June 15, 1929 to Ben Harris and Beulah Shapley Harris in Hansford County.  Glen was an Ins. adjuster for farmers.  He loved music, traveling and being with his family. Glen was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gruver.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Faye; grandson, Thomas Mckenzie; and great-grand son, Jet James.

Glen is survived by his wife , Ella Harris; daughters, Glenna and husband, Allen Norris of Myrtle Beach, Carol and husband, Anthony Romano; sons, Kenneth and wife Jean Harris of Gruver and Pat and wife Pam Harris of Temple, Texas.  He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren
