Glenda Renner, 90, of Gruver, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 in Amarillo.  A registry book will be available to sign on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 (9:00a.m.-9:00p.m.) and Thursday, February 13, 2025 (9:00a.m.-9:00p.m.) at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman.

There will be a private family burial.  A memorial service will be on Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Church of Christ in Gruver at 1:00p.m. with Dr. Dee Green officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Glenda was born to Coleman Green and Vivian Ayers Green on September 17, 1934 in Cooke County Texas.  Boyd J Renner and Glenda Green were married in Gruver on June 25,1964 at the Church of Christ.

Glenda graduated from Abilene Christian College and was a school teacher in Gruver Schools for many years.  She loved to travel and traveled all over the world with her best friend Ginger.  She was always a very thoughtful and a very sweet person.   Glenda and B.J. were always making their best enchiladas' and sharing with the neighbors. Glenda was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, B.J., grandson, Boyd Pierson, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

She is survived by her daughter Viva and husband Marty Pierson of Amarillo, son, Ross Renner and wife Kristi of Canyon, daughter, Anise Renner of Amarillo, brothers, R.C. Green of League City, TX. and Bo Green of Abilene, TX.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brit Pierson, Sydney Pierson, Sabrina Pierson, B.W. Renner, Miles Renner, and Kellye Hutson.

Family suggests memorial in memory of Glenda be to High Plains Children's Home, 11461 S. Western St. Amarillo, TX. 79118  or ones favorite charity.
