Grace   L. McDade, 91, of Spearman passed away on Sunday October 20,2024.  Memorial services will be held on November 23, 2024 at 2:00p.m. at the Palo Duro Wildorado Cemetery at 5701 FM809 Wildorado, Texas.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Grace was born, February 2, 1933 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Nelson Butcher and Thelma Ellis .  Walter McDade and Grace Rodgers were united in marriage on January 22, 1977 in Wildarado, Texas.  Graced loved to travel and working for Debbie making cookies.  She was a very loving, wife, mother and Nana (grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother).  She was able to see her only great-great granddaughter before she became ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Roy Seger, brother-in-law, Robert McDade, sister, Nora Mc Clure, 3 daughters, Billie Jean and  husband, Mark Parker and wife Rebecca, Kathy McDade, Lee and husband Mike Tice.

Grace is survived by her husband, Walter of the home in Spearman, son, Eddie Rodgers of Spearman, grandchildren, Mark Parker and wife Rebecca, David Parker and wife Veronica, Brandi Parker, John Parker and wife Suzanne, Kory and wife Kara Tice, Kala Griffith and husband Michael, Mikah Tice, and sister-in-law, Mary Lee Valentine.  Great- grandchildren, Hayes, Hannah,  Hadley, Cassidie, Emma, Devin, Danielle, Ashley, Alyssa, Brekyn,  Kaia,  Breklyn, Joe, Brantley and Emery.  She was also survived by her first great-great-grandchild, Presley.
