Griselda Lomas De Velez, 49, of Perryton, Texas passed away Monday, April 29, 2024 in Beaver County, Oklahoma.  Viewing will be Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Monday, May 6, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.  Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  Funeral mass will be Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Griselda was born on February 5, 1975 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Andres Lomas and Ma. De La Paz Gallardo.  She married her husband, Clemente Velez, on May 30,1995 in El Paso, Texas.

Griselda is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Velez of Liberal, Kansas; two sons, Adolfo Velez and Luis Angel Velez, both of Perryton, Texas; her mother, Paz Gallardo and father, Andres Lomas, both of Nieves Zacatecas, Mexico; three brothers, Ramon Lomas of Nieves, Zacatecas, Mexico, Octavio Lomas of Kennewick, Washington, and Juan Lomas of Lyons, Kansas; three sisters, Teresa Lomas of Madison, Wisconsin, Ana Rosa Lomas of Nieves, Zacatecas, Mexico, and Elvira Gallardo of Hereford, Texas; and her beloved cat, Mellie!
