Harlan Dale Bunch, age 74, of rural Pawhuska, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 at the Sedan City Hospital in Sedan, KS. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 5, 2022 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Perryton, Texas.

Harlan was born on June 10, 1948 to Robert W. Bunch and Mathie (Denson) Bunch.  He grew up and attended school in Texas. On September 5, 1969 he married Betty Ann Bucher in Perryton, Texas. They made their home in Perryton for many years, where Dale worked in the oilfield as a rig operator and later as a water truck driver.  He retired in 2006. Shortly after his retirement, they moved to rural Pawhuska, Oklahoma, where they have lived for the past 14 years. He enjoyed fishing and going to the casino.

He is survived by his wife Betty Bunch of 52 years; two daughters, Sherry Hemphill and husband, Preston, of rural Pawhuska, Oklahoma and Cindy Kincannon and husband, Tracy, of Goodwell, Oklahoma; a son, Tony Bunch and wife, Sandy, of Panhandle, Texas; three sisters, Arlene Simpson of Purmela, Texas, Carol Crowell of Gatesville, Texas, and Tammy McDaniel of Gatesville, Texas; two brothers, Allen Bunch and Ronnie Bunch both of Georgetown, Texas; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela DeAnn, two brothers, Jay and Darrell, sister, Lisa and parents Robert and Mathie.
