Hilario Rodriguez, 84, of Perryton, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 10th, 2026 in Booker, Texas. Viewing will be Wednesday February 11th 2026 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm and Thursday February 12th 2026 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton, Texas. A Rosary will be held on Thursday evening, February 12th, 2026, at 8:00 pm at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Mass will be held on Friday,  February 13th 2026 at 2:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perryton, Texas. Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery, with arrangements by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas

Mr. Rodriguez was born in Lazaro Cardenas, Chihuahua on October 19th, 1941, to Vicenta Simental and Jesus Rodriguez, who had 12 children in total. Hilario married Ramona Arreola on August 28th, 1964. Both Hilario and Ramona came to the United States in 1975 and have lived here since.

Mr. Rodiguez is survived by 4 brothers, 1 sister, and his five children, Zulema Miranda and husband Alberto, Jose Rodriguez and wife Cynthia, Norberto Rodriguez, Victor Rodriguez, and wife Patricia, and Amy Arballo and husband Fransico; his thirteen grandchildren, Arnaldo Miranda, Maritza Miranda, Judean Beltran, Aaron Fraire, Danielle Uribe, Austin Rodriguez, Blas Rodriguez, Claudia Rodriguez, Julia Rodriguez, Kristina Rodriguez, Elisha Rodriguez, Adrian Rodriguez, and Aydan Navarro; five great grandchildren Santiago Perez, River Miranda, Aven Rodriguez, Leonel Beltran, Amersyn Rodriguez.

Mr. Rodriguez is preceded in death by both his parents, ex wife Ramona, five sisters and one brother.

Hilario was a huge Dodgers fan. He loved to dance and had a great ear for music. Hilario was loved by many and will be truly missed.
