Isela Arzate, 39, of Booker, Tx, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. Funeral service will be on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Booker Friends Church at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Mills officiating. Burial will follow at Heart Cemetery. The funeral home in Booker will be open for viewing/visitation starting Friday, Sept. 11 from 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Saturday, Sept. 12 from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm, and Sunday, Sept. 13 from 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Booker. Due to COVID 19 guidelines, we will be practicing social distancing and occupancy numbers will be limited.

Isela was born February 1, 1981 in Beaver, Ok to Baltazar and Eulalia Salcido Arzate. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church of Booker.

Survivors include her parents, Baltazar and Eulalia Arzate of Booker, Tx; husband, Cruz Nevarez; her children, Sinai Gonzales, Seyer Gonzales and wife, Yesenia, Saidah Arzate, Sadyah Arzate, and Samyah Arzate all of Booker, Tx; brothers, Baltazar Arzate, Jr. of Manitowoc, WI, Eliazar Arzate of Angelton, Tx and Carlos Arzate of Booker, Tx; sister, Griselda Arzate of Booker, Tx; one grandchild on the way; numerous nieces and nephews.
