Jack Dyer, 87, of Perryton, Tx passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home will be open for visitation/viewing on Sunday (10/18/20) from 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Monday (10/19/20) from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Due to COVID 19 guidelines, we will be practicing social distancing and occupancy numbers will be limited.

Jack was born on March 20, 1933 in Castro County, Texas to P.H. and Jimmie Sweazea Dyer. He married Jennie Scott in June of 1953 in Wellington, Tx. He was the ag teacher at Perryton High School for many years. Jack was an avid square dancer for many years with the Perryton Promenaders Club. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Perryton.

He is survived by his son, Don Dyer from Perryton, Tx; his daughter, Kallie George and husband, Keith of Columbia, Mo; 4 grandchildren, Kevin George, Kirk George, Lindsay Roberts, Ashley Ashley; six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, P.H. and Jimmie Dyer; wife, Jennie in 1993; brothers and sisters, Wayne, Elaine, Lucille, Billie, Jim and Mary Gene; and dear friend, Karen Burkhart.
