Jacob Edward Tyk, 32, of Balko, Oklahoma passed away Friday, June 27, 2025 in Beaver County, Oklahoma.  A memorial service is planned for 1:30 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Perryton, Texas.  Cremation arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Jacob was born on November 7, 1992 in Perryton, Texas to Tony Tyk and Angela Jones Tyk.  He graduated from Perryton High School in Perryton, Texas.  He worked on a ranch as the ranch helper.  He was a real simple guy who enjoyed showing his nephews how to play ball and fish.  He loved hunting and fishing, and he loved his dog, Athena.

Jacob is survived by his parents, one sister, Lacey Tyk of Perryton, Texas; his brother-in-law Everardo Arellano of Perryton; his grandmother, Linda Wright of Blanchard, Oklahoma; his grandfather Joe Jones of Shreveport, Louisiana; his grandparents Frank and LaJean Tyk of San Antonio, Texas; three nephews, Ryan and Jameson Rios, and Taylor Arellano; three uncles, Larry Jones and wife Staci of McKinney, Texas, John Tyk and wife Lorrie of D'Hanis, Texas, and Tom Tyk;  and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jacob was preceded in death by one uncle, David Tyk.

The family requests memorials be to one's favorite charity.
