James Martin, 78, of Spearman passed away in Amarillo on Monday, November 15, 2021.   A Graveside Service will be held at The Martin Family Cemetery, 1300 FM 760, Spearman, Texas at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, November  18, 2021, with Rev. George Lundberg officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman.

James was born in Spearman, TX to James Homer Martin and Will-Ella Weston on April 22, 1943. He was a farmer and rancher all of his life in Hansford County. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

James was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Nancy.

He is survived by his two daughters, Donna and husband, Jason Harris of Canyon, Diana and husband, Randy Duncan of Conway, Ark; a son, Shawn and wife, Misty Martin of Quitman, Ark. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and one brother, Eddie G. Martin.

Family suggests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee.
