Jerry Carnes, 73, of Booker, Tx passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Heart Cemetery in Booker, Tx. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. Due to COVID 19 guidelines, we will be practicing social distancing and occupancy numbers will be limited. Jerry was born on August 14, 1947 to Lossie Dean and Erica Langolf Carnes in Beaver, Ok. He worked in the oilfield around the area for several years. He was an excellent gardener and jack of all trades. He loved his children and grandchildren and was a loyal friend.

Survivors include his sons, Robert Dean Carnes and Rodney Carroll Carnes both of Mustang, Ok and Ricky Lee Carnes of Ft. Worth, Tx; six grandchildren, Brooke Betzen of Lewisville, Tx, Blake Carnes of Mustang, Ok, Bayley Wade of Mustang, Ok, Taylor Rene Carnes of Ft. Worth, Tx, Braxton Carnes of Mustang, Ok, Katie Ann Carnes of Graham, Tx; four great-grandchildren, Rowan Betzen, Asher Carnes, Huntley Carnes, and Eleanor Betzen; one brother, Donny Ray Carnes of Adrian, Tx; two sisters, Carolyn Sue McDaniel of Broken Arrow, Ok and Linda Kay Robertson of Higgins, Tx.
