Jose Luis Barron Garcia, 55, of Gruver, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in Amarillo.  Viewing will be at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 9:00 a.m.until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.  Graveside services will be held at the Gruver Cemetery on Saturday, January 30, at 2:00 p.m.

Jose was born on December 16, 1965 to Antonio Barron and Maria Garcia in Guanajuato Mexico. Jose and Rosa Barron were married on March 4, 2008 in Hansford County.   He was an oil rig foremen and worked many years in the oil field.  He was a very loving father, husband and Pampo.

He is survived by his wife Rosa, three daughters, Rosa Garcia of Choctaw, OK; Anjelica Burry of Morrison Co., Mary Barron of Gruver. Sons, JR Munoz of Sweetwater, OK.  and Eric Munoz of Gruver.  He is also survived by brothers, Fernando Barron Garcia of Lufkin, TX. Salvador Barron Garcia of Mexico, Juan Barron Garcia of Lufkin, TX. and a sister, Amelia Barron Garcia of Mexico.  He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to sent to Pancreatic Cancer Research.
