Josefa Granados Royval, 69, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021.  Viewing will be Tuesday evening, April 6, 2021 until 9:00p.m., Wednesday,  April 7, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman.  Funeral services will be at the First Christian Church in Gruver, on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Gary Gumfory officiating.  Burial will follow at Hansford Cemetery in Spearman.   Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Josefa was born on October 5, 1951 in Juarez, Mexico, to Ramon Garcia and Ester Anaya.  She was a member of the First Christian Church in Gruver.  Manuel Granados and   Josefa  were married in May of 1997 in Amarillo.  Josefa was a very loving wife, mother, and Nana.  She loved to talk, play cards and she loved her church.

Josefa was preceded in death by her son, Grizzly Royval, her parents, and a sister, Tola Simental.

She is survived by her husband, Manuel, of Gruver; sons, Russ Royval of Canton, GA. Fabin Royval of Huntsville, TX.; daughter, Sandra Richardson of Canyon, TX. She is also survived by four sisters; Ramona Garcia, Chole Favela, Mina Aguilar, Sandy Franco and brother, Ramon Garcia.  Josefa is also survived by 9 grandchildren Brandon Hargis, Brett Hargis, Kailee Richardson, Griselle Royval, Kota Royval, Alexus Royval, Kalli Royval, Emma Rain Royval, and Nicholas Royval.
