June Scroggs Edwards, 85, of Spearman, Tx passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020. There will be a private family graveside service. Viewing will be Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 5 pm. to 9 pm. and Monday, September 21, 2020, 9 am. to 9 pm.   Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

June was born on June 5, 1935 to Oakes Scroggs and Opal Faus Scroggs in Spearman.  June and Wayman Edwards were married in November, 1953 in Spearman. She was a lifelong resident of Hansford County. She was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church in Spearman.

June loved yard work and gardening. She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Dallen Scroggs.

She is survived by sons, Frank and wife, Kitty Edwards, of Amarillo, Denton and wife, Pam Edwards of Choctaw, OK. and Dayton Edwards of Stinnett, TX.  June is also survived by 8 sisters, Irene Ford, Doris Jean Pipkin, Joyce Leach, Mary Harper, Peggy Mitchell, Zada Cooper, Coleen Neal and Sharon Johnnson; 3 brothers, Tildon Scroggs, James Scroggs and Ted Scroggs; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Family suggests memorial to Hansford Hospice or Apostolic Faith Church.
