Kristal Sue Puentes, 40, of Spearman passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021.  A memorial will be held at the First United Methodist Church on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Mindy McLanahan officiating.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman.

Kristal was born on March 30, 1981 in Borger, Texas to Allen Burkhammer and Colleen Villines Burkhammer.

Kristal 's world revolved around her boys and was the biggest cheerleader for them in all their sporting events.  She was an unofficial mom to a lot of kids.

She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Burkhammer.

Kristal is survived by her mother, Colleen, three sons, Holden Puentes, Brae Puentes, and  Kaleb  Puentes and their father, Ernesto Puentes all of Spearman.  She is also survived by her partner, Coy Herrington of Spearman and sisters, Brianne Eslick and husband Eric , of Canyon, Debbie Thomas of Myrtle Beach, FL. and family; Holly Perry of Buckhannon, WV. and family, also a brother Dean Burkhammer of Buckhannon, WV.; several  nieces and nephews.

Family suggests memorials be to an account set up for Kristal's boys at the First National Bank in Spearman.
