Larry Gene Munday, 66, of Perryton, Tx passed away December 14, 2020, at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo. A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Community Christian Church with Craig VanDeburgh officiating. The funeral home in Perryton will be open for viewing/visitation on Thursday (12/17/20) and Friday (12/18/20) from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday (12/18/20) at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

Larry was born to Roy and Ruby (King) Munday on May 31, 1954 in Cleveland, Oh. He married Corene Nusz on May 2, 1981 in Perryton, Tx. He was a fire fighter for 20+ years. He also volunteered his time as a Scout Master for 10 years, served on the Snack Pak for Kids board, Wolf Creek Advisory Board and the Crime Stoppers Board. He volunteered for Toys for Tots.

He is survived by his wife, Corene of the home; his mother, Ruby Bailey of Mauldin, S.C.; sons, Scott Munday and his wife, Nichole and their daughter, Tatum of Gatesville, Tx and Eric Munday of Amarillo, Tx; sisters, Wanda Price and husband, Rob, of Spartanburg, S.C. and Ara Miller and husband, Bob, from Columbus, Oh; brothers, William Bailey from Ft. Worth, Tx and Larry Ray Bailey and wife, Janice of Port Aransas, Tx.

Larry is preceded in death by his fathers, Roy Munday and Lawrence Bailey.
