Lazaro G. Estrada, 69, of Perryton, Texas passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 in Perryton, Texas.  Viewing will be Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Monday, April 8, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton.  A rosary will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m.  Mass will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perryton, officiated by Father Cesar Gomez.  Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery, and arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Mr. Estrada was born on March 26, 1955 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Victoriano Estrada and Guadalupe Gallegos.  He came to the United States fifty years ago from Mexico.  He worked in the oilfield as a pumper, and he was a member of the immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  He loved chocolate and Reeses peanut butter cups!  He also loved woodworking.

Mr. Estrada is survived by his wife, Olga Munoz Estrada of Perryton, Texas; one son, Eric Manzanares of Colorado; two daughters, Corina Ramirez of Perryton, Texas, and Griselda Estrada of Baltimore, Maryland; five sisters, Josefina Gomez, Tere Reyes, and Carmen Estrada, all three of Garden City, Kansas, Leticia Ruiz of Dallas, Texas, and Tina Estrada of Chihuahua, Mexico; three grandsons, Noel Ramirez, Abel Ramirez, and Joel Ramirez; two granddaughters, River Manzanares and Hailey Manzanares; and one great-granddaughter, Aylin Itzel Ramirez.

Mr. Estrada was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Erasmo Estrada and Jesus Manuel Estrada.
