With deep sadness and heartfelt love, we announce the passing of Lilia Aurora Gonzales, who left this world on September 30, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on April 3, 1965, in Weslaco, Texas, Lilia was a beacon of warmth and kindness, whose life was a testament to compassion, dedication, and love for family. Lilia was the beloved daughter of Baldemar and Yolanda Guerrero, who nurtured her gentle spirit and unwavering commitment to helping others. She pursued her passion for nursing by earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from Amarillo College in Amarillo, Texas, where she became a Registered Nurse.

Her career was more than a profession; it was a calling that she embraced with an open heart and tireless dedication. Lilia's colleagues and patients were touched by her generosity and unyielding care, and her legacy will continue in the countless lives she impacted. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Lilia found immense joy in life's simple pleasures. She cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life. As the proud grandmother of eleven, she poured her love and energy into creating a nurturing environment filled with laughter and warmth.
