Lonzo Landrum, 90, of Perryton, Tx passed peacefully from this life on January 18, 2022.  A celebration of life service will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, 1/20/22 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Perryton, Texas with Rev. Mark Metzger officiating. Family visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. before the service. Burial will follow at Ochiltree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

He was born on September 27, 1931 in Garland, Texas to Albert and Dovie (Griffin) Landrum. He grew up in Hunt County and then graduated from Ferris High School.  He worked for Sears Roebuck for several years before moving to Perryton, Texas.  After relocating, he worked for Dowell, North Plains Electric and then owned and operated several small businesses throughout his lifetime.  He married Mary Belle Swink in 1963 and they began their life together.  They faithfully attended First United Methodist Church in Perryton.

Lonzo is survived by nephew, Lawrence Landrum (wife, Rhonda); niece, Elizabeth Landrum Scarborough; grandson, Joshua Reese and other extended family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary, his daughter, Terri Lea Landrum Stockton, and his brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Jean Landrum.
