Louis Ray "Bo" Rice, 87, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formerly Perryton, Texas, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025 in Oklahoma City.  Viewing will be Friday, August 1, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Ochiltree Cemetery, officiated by Elwyn Rodgers.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Mr. Rice was born on November 16, 1937 in Peggs, Oklahoma to Delbert Rice and Opal Young Rice.  He married his wife, Ella Mae Rice, on April 12, 1958 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and he worked in the oil field.  He loved his family dearly.  He enjoyed watching rodeos and followed his grandchildren in all their activities.

Mr. Rice is survived by one daughter, Angela Rice of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one daughter-in-law, Misty Rice, of Aledo, Texas; one son, Darrell Rice and wife Penny of Norman, Oklahoma; one brother, Cecil Rice of Enid, Oklahoma; two sisters, Georgia Mae Randolph of Los Alamos, New Mexico and Helen Williams of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; six granddaughters, Ciera Walden and husband Clay, Allison Hulsey and husband Jeff, Tristan Rice and Jenni Rice; Morgan Thomas and husband Brayton, Darian Rice, and Kyliegh Benton and husband Austin; one grandson, Brendon Rice; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. Rice was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ella Mae Rice; one son, Don Rice; and one great granddaughter, Ella.
