Luz Socorro Carnero De Porras, 74, of Perryton, Texas passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 in Amarillo, Texas.  A vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perryton, Texas.  Mass will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, officiated by Father Cesar Gomez.  Burial will follow in Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Mrs. Carnero De Porras was born on July 30, 1950 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Miguel Carnero and Eneteria Carnero.  She married her husband, Hector Ramonj Porras in Mexico on December 16, 1966.  She was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Mrs. Carnero De Porras is survived by her husband, Hector; three daughters, Maribel Porras, Lorena Porras and Mailen Porras; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Carnero De Porras was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
