Lynn Cook, 77, of Spearman, passed away on October 3, 2020 in Spearman, Tx.  Graveside services will be on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the Holt Cemetery at 11:00 with Minister John Scott.  Viewing will be Monday, October  5, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. till 9:00 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman. Due to COVID 19 guidelines, we will be practicing social distancing. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Lynn was born on December 14, 1942, in Perryton,  to A.F. and Barbara Dolloff Cook. Lynn graduated from Spearman High School in 1961 and joined the Marines, July 6, 1962. He received an honorable discharge on July 5, 1968. Lynn and Sharion Close were married on October 23, 1965 in Spearman. On October 23, 2020 they would have been married for 55 years.

Lynn loved teaching all 3 of their children how to fish and hunt.  He was a loving, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 sisters, Glenda and Brenda.

Lynn is survived by his wife, Sharion of Spearman, his three children, sons, Bob and wife, Shelly Cook of Pampa,TX,; Shawn and wife, Traci Cook of Rowlett, TX. and daughter, Lyndee Stone of Spearman. He is also survived by one sister Sharon Farber, 10 grandchildren, Cori and husband Brice Bennett, Lindsey and husband, Jared Pilcher, Stefan Cook, Brayden Cook, Conner Cook, Kyler Cook, Trevin Fergurson, Kaylee Ferguson and 2 great-grandchildren Emma Ferguson and Swayde Bennett.
