Marcos Manuel Vigil, 76 of Perryton, Tx passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Canadian, Texas with Msgr. Michael Colwell officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton. The funeral home in Perryton will be open for viewing/visitation on Tuesday (1/12/21) from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday (1/13/21) from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary scheduled each evening at 6:00 p.m. Services will be broadcast live on Boxwell Brothers Facebook page for those who wish to watch. Marcos was born October 7, 1944 in Colonia Esperanza, Chihuahua Mexico to Rosalio and Dulces (Lerma) Vigil. He married Maria Evangelina Lujan on February 14, 1972 in Mexico. Marcos was a farmer/rancher in Farnsworth, loved animals and had extremely strong work ethics. Sunday's were family days devoted to family, mass, eating out and movies.

He is survived by his wife, Maria of the home; sons, Luis Rey Vigil and wife Linda of Canadian, Texas; daughters, Rita Irene Vigil of Perryton, Texas, Zully Herrera and husband Arturo of Booker, Texas, Jackie Glassey and husband Shane of Bulverde, Texas, Laura Hernandez and husband Rene of Perryton ,Texas, Eva Munoz and husband Jose of Evans, Colorado; brothers, Carlos Vigil, Vicente Vigil; sisters, Enedina Cardenas, Dulces Soellner, Rosa Atkinson, Lucinda Rubio, Idalia Butler and nineteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Luis Rey Vigil and sister, Rosalia Vigil
