Margaret Ann Bryant, 94, of Perryton, Texas passed away Monday, February 23, 2026 in Perryton.  A memorial service will be held Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Perryton, Texas.  Cremation arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Born in 1931 in Windom, Minnesota to Helen and Russell Gove as the 3rd of 5 children, Margaret grew up on a small self-sustaining dairy farm in southern Minnesota.  The family provided milk, eggs, and some produce to local people during the depression and through the war years.  She was required to do her part of the daily chores including milking, cleaning stalls, feeding cows from the hay and silage they grew and put up.  Growing up, she was very active in her church and was in band and track, and she was a cheerleader for high school sports.  She married Milo Siewert in 1951 while he was in the Air Force in Rapid City, South Dakota.  They moved to Texas with their first-born son, Rick, in 1953 and remained there with the birth of two more sons, Mark, 1959, and Ronnie, 1961.  She continued to be active in her church and was the church secretary for San Jacinto Methodist and later Polk Street Methodist church over a 15-year period.  She then worked at Blackburn Shaw funeral directors.  She married Robert Bryant in 1978, and they began an electrical business in Borger, Texas.  They contracted with Honeywell to install energy-saving units in large buildings which required them to move several times a year to be on location for each project.  Between jobs she was the "back seat" secretary, biller, and record keeper in addition to part time electrician's helper and "go for" to get needed supplies and parts while on the jobs.  They finally semi-retired and settled in the mountains of New Mexico.  She worked for a Taos funeral home, and Robert became an ordained Baptist minister working as assistant in the Baptist church of Red River.  They moved to Perryton in 2015 and became active members of First Baptist Church.  She especially enjoyed her Sunday School class, lunch with ladies, and her time serving alongside her fellow First Baptist Church women.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Helen, her 4 siblings, Ruth, Dorothy, Bonnie, Charles and her husband Robert.

She leaves 3 sons, 2 stepsons, a stepdaughter, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren behind.

Her determined Midwest spirit of work ethic, unselfish care for those in need, self-reliance, practical down to earth behavior and personal integrity will live on in those she raised and touched over her 94 years.  It is with relief and joy that she can now move on to her just rewards in the next chapter of her eternity.
